Flame Control steel and cable protection products are specially formulated, asbestos free coatings designed specifically for these intended applications.

Cable Protection 

Flame Control intumescent mastics are water based, reinforced fire retardant coatings designed for use on electrical and communication cables, and their supporting trays.  These coatings increase the fire endurance time of the cables as a protective, dense foam fire barrier is formed when exposed to fire or high heat conditions.  This barrier shields the cables and trays from flame exposure and insulates from excessive heat, retarding the propagation of flames. 

Structural Steel

Flame Control structural steel coatings are reinforced thermal protective coatings designed for application to interior structural steel.  These intumescent coatings are applied to increase the steel fire endurance time of up to one hour.
